hello from christa!
I've always been fascinated with photos and cameras. My Nonno was an avid photographer and videographer, and his camera and home movies and photos from the 1920's, 30's and 40's are some of my most treasured possessions. In the 70's my Grandma purchased a polaroid, and I remember being awe-struck at seeing the image just captured after about a minute. The few times she let me use it, I carefully lined up shots ~ my first adventure into still life photography.
When my father-in-law Bill gifted me his Canon 50D after the birth of our first daughter, it changed my world. She was my favorite subject, and I loved creating calendars, holiday cards and gifts with my photos. Friends and relatives began asking me to photograph their kids, and my professional photography journey began.
For the past 15 years, I have trained extensively in photography, including in Denmark where I fell in love with its beautiful and consistent natural lighting. It's there where my love of light and bright began.
My next adventure is into portraiture studio photography. I'm excited to offer this service in the near future, so stay tuned...
